DALEVILLE…Mr. Ronald Harold Thomley, a resident of Daleville, died late Thursday morning, November 23, 2023, in Medical Center Enterprise. He was 63.


            Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Mr. Thomley, son of the late H B Thomley and Maggie Belmar Howard Emerling, was a native of the Wicksburg Community. He formerly lived in Headland before moving to Daleville twenty-five years ago. Mr. Thomley retired from Jimmy’s Heating & Cooling in Dothan as an Install Technician. He will always be fondly remembered by his family as one who loved each of them, the family outings to the beach and his air boat. Mr. Thomley was very proud of his 1975 Trans Am that he bought brand new and still owns to this date. He was an avid University of Alabama Football fan. Mr. Thomley was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Thomley and stepmother, Irene Kelley Thomley.


            Surviving relatives include his wife, Samantha SueAnne Childree Thomley; two daughters, Ciara Darlene Thomley and Amellia Makayla Thomley; his son, Joseph Thomley (Victoria Carlton), all of Daleville; four sisters, Darlene Thomley, Daleville, Cindy Hemendinger (Steve), Carol Deal (Jimmy), and Ava Cox (Calvin), all of Dothan; his grandson, Andrew Lamon Thomley; nieces and nephews.
