Rudolph Haymon, a resident of Abbeville, died Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Henry county Health and Rehab. He was 84.

Graveside services for Mr. Haymon will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Gardens of Memory with Reverend Ray Cobb officiating and Southern Heritage directing.

Mr. Haymon was born September 8, 1928 in Headland, Alabama to John Thomas and Alie Penelopie Bond Haymon. He was a commercial painter by trade and a member of Kinsey Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Patti Lucas (Larry), Rogersville, AL; step daughter, Sue McCardle (Ray), Dothan; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters and several nieces.
