NEWTON… Mr. Timothy Lee Dillard, a resident of Newton, died early Tuesday morning, June 28, 2022, at his home. He was 36.


            Graveside services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Friday, July 1, 2022, in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, near Newton, with his cousin, Bimbo Turner officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.


            Lee was born November 6, 1985,  in Ozark and grew up in Newton. He was a 2005 Graduate of Dale County High School. Lee attended Bethel Baptist Church, near Newton. He was one of the kindest, most caring hearted persons anyone could ever meet. One of his most enjoyable moments, would be the time he spent with his loving family. Lee was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Jeanette Story Dillard and James Mahaney (Master Sergeant, Retired, United States Army).


            Surviving relatives include his parents, Tim and Dana Mahaney Dillard, Newton; his sister, Felicia Ward (Seth), Echo Community and his brother, Paul Dillard, Newton; niece, Addison Ward; grandmother, Barbara Mahaney, Newton; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
