Timothy Ian Myers, 47, of Ashford, Alabama, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Flowers Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 in Clearman Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Thaxton Whiddon officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the funeral home.

Born in Valdosta, GA, he was a son of the late Rubin Earl and Sarah Tidwell Myers.  Mr. Myers worked as a Senior Materials Coordinator with TransOcean LTD for the past sixteen years and is a member of the Taylor Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, John T. & Willie Mae Myers and Marshall Jefferson & Willie Mae Tidwell.

Surviving are his wife, Linda K. Myers, Ashford, Al; two sons, David (Heather) Myers, and Timothy (Kristin) Myers, both of Dothan, Al;  two daughters, Jessica Myers and Kaylee Myers both of Dothan, AL; two brothers, Max (Debra) Myers, Lynn Haven, FL, Darrell (Janice) Myers, Ashford, AL; three grandchildren, Landon Myers, Ziva Myers, and Peyton Myers.

Southern Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the Myers family.
