OZARK…. Mr. Tommie Ray Starling, a resident of Ozark, died Monday morning, September 21, 2020 at his home. He was 63.


            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Sasser officiating. Burial will follow in Starling Cemetery in Troy. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.


            Mr. Starling, son of the late Frank Starling and Esta Odom Starling Keller, was a native of Troy, Alabama. He formerly lived in Winter Garden, Florida before moving to Ozark in 1993. Mr. Starling was retired from Frit Industries in Ozark. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Sallie Thompson, Sue Whitehead, and Darlis Boles; a brother, James Carroll Starling.


            Surviving relatives include four brothers, Raymond Starling (Loretta), Ronnie Starling (Patsy), Donnie Starling, and Greg Starling; brother-in-law, Art Thompson, all of Ozark; nieces and nephews, Dana Starling (Hank Stratton), William Starling (Beth), Sheila Morrison (W.C.), Harmon Starling (Shannon), Stanley Thompson, April Slack (Eric), Tim Whitehead (Sherry), Rusty Whitehead, Vickie Hoffman, Chris Boles (Naomi), and Nathan Boles (Brittany); several great nieces and great nephews.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be Harmon Starling, William Starling, Aaron Stratton, Cody Stratton, Justin Starling, and Toby Starling.
