NEWTON…Mr. Tommy Williams, a resident of Newton, died Friday morning, September8, 2023, at his home. He was 78.

            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in the Bullock Community Cemetery, near Brantley with Reverend Jeremy Meetze officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Williams, son of the late David Williams and Annie Louise Drake Williams, was a native of Opp, Alabama. He formerly lived in Opelika, Alabama before moving to Newton two years ago. Mr. Williams retired as a truck driver.

            Surviving relatives include his daughter, Priscilla Keller (Greg), Summerdale, Alabama; his sister, Juliette Jones, Salem, Alabama; two grandchildren, William and Emma; nieces and nephews.
