KELLY SPRINGS COMMUNITY…Mr. Tony Charles Sistrunk, a resident of the Kelly Springs Community, near Midland City, died early Saturday afternoon, December 2, 2023, at the home of his daughter. He was 56.

            Homegoing services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 9, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with his brother, Reverend Darrion T. Sistrunk officiating. Burial will follow in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery, near Clio. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 noon Saturday at the funeral home.

            Mr. Sistrunk, son of the late M C Sistrunk and Barbara Coleman Sistrunk, was a native of Barbour County, near Clio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Palmer Sistrunk.

            Surviving relatives include his children, Tomika Knight (Alloyd), Ontonieo Sistrunk, Terrell Sistrunk, Raphael Sistrunk, Teresa Sistrunk, Demetrius Sistrunk, Marcus Sistrunk, and Kyndall Johnson; his siblings, Annie Tarver, Reverend Darrion Sistrunk (Annette), Gabriel Sistrunk (Ruth), and Valerie Sistrunk; thirteen grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
