Tony Edward Hughes, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023, in his hometown of Dothan.

Born on June 27, 1966 to Emmer Jean Miller and the late Edward Hughes. Tony’s love for adventure was evident in his spending time at the lake, boating and jet skiing. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, exploring the open road, and feeling the wind in his hair allowing him to create lasting memories with his loved ones. Tony attended Rocky Branch Church but above all, Tony was a loving father who took great pride in his children. He was always there to support them in their endeavors, providing guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

Tony is preceded in death by his father, Edward Hughes.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Hughes; his devoted children, Chianne and Christopher Hughes; his brother, Glenn (Alison) Hughes; his sister, Sharon (James) Dyson; his mother, Emmer Jean Miller; and his step-brother, Jason (Rita) Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with burial following in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
