Mr. Wayne Edward Stephens of Cottonwood passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at the age of 73.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, August 12, 2022 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St, Jude’s or to Tunnel to Towers.

Mr. Stephens worked 33 years at Georgia Pacific and was a former employee at Holland Machine Shop.

Mr. Stephens is preceded in death by his parents Hershel and Ethelene Stephens and son-in-law Duane Spiers

Survivors include his partner Peggy Shelly, daughter Brandi Spiers (Michael), step-children Clint Shelley (Amanda), Jada Danyeur (Tommy), sister Barbara Lee (Wayne), grandchildren Jacob, Brooke, Kinsley, Colby, Reagan, and 2 nephews.
