DOTHAN...Mr. Wesley Taylor, a resident of Dothan, died early Thursday afternoon, August 24, 2023, in Enterprise.  He was 46.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 1, 2023, in Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

Wes was born September 24, 1976, in Rochester, Michigan and formerly lived in Portsmouth, Virginia and Pensacola, Florida before moving to Dothan in 2002.  He was a talented tattoo artist who was passionate about his art and was employed with StabSlab Tattoo and Piercing in Enterprise.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, skateboarding, traveling, eating amazing food and being a father to his children.  He was fiercely loyal, honest to a fault and one of the best friends anyone could ask for.  He didn’t know a stranger because nearly everyone who met him ended up calling him friend or brother.

Wes lived his life on his terms, blazing new, unexpected paths every step of the way and having the types of adventures most people only dream of.  He was a friend, a brother, an artist and a father and while he is no longer with us, his legacy, and the impact he made on everyone close to him, will last many lifetimes over.  Wes was proceeded in death by his parents, Donnie Ray Taylor and Clarissa Marie Ritzler (Racine – Maiden).

Surviving relatives include his three sons, Nolley Taylor, Dothan, Shayne Glenn and Luke Glenn, both of Ozark; his brothers, Adam Taylor, Tampa, Florida and Martin Quertermous, Grand Blanc, Michigan; his sister, Tammy Taylor, Clarkston, Michigan; his grandson, Atlas Glenn; nieces, nephews and cousins.
