Mr. Wilber Lee Goddin, age 73, of Dothan passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021.
Born June 25, 1948 in Holmes County, Florida to the late Gettis Goddin and Mallie Goddin. Wilber enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and card games. He also enjoyed trading and was a vendor at Sadie’s for over 30 years. He will be remembered for his love of telling jokes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Leon Morris and his wife Edith, Louie Morris, Richard Goddin, Danny Goddin; his sister, Shirley Goddin Russell; his son-in-law, Keith Angelotti.
He is survived by his doting wife, Maria Montenegro; loving daughters, Gina Markle (James) and Michele Angelotti; his grandchildren, Kaleb Angelotti, Austin Angelotti, Keianna Angelotti, Tori Markle, and Emma Markle; his brother, Tommy Goddin (Velda); his sister, Mary Goddin Mattocks (Matt); his sisters-in-law, Ann Morris and Rhonda Goddin; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1918 Old Mt. Zion Road, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32455.
