Willard Boyette, 66, of Ashford, Alabama, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Madrid Assembly of God Church with Reverend John Smith, Reverend Jerry Harden, and Reverend Jack Wingate officiating. Burial will follow in Madrid City Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the funeral home, and at other times will be at the family residence.

 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Boyette was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Haley Price, and a brother-in-law, Aubrey Stanfill.

 

Willard was born in Houston County, Alabama to the late Willard Ralph and Dorothy Mae Adams Boyett. He was a 1968 graduate of Cottonwood High School and worked as a dispatcher for Lane Trucking Company, Bowman Trucking Company, and his own company, TBM Trucking Company. He is of the Assembly of God Faith.

 

Surviving are his wife, Pamela McMillan Boyette, Ashford, AL; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim (Michael “Big Mike”) Price, Cottonwood, AL; two sons & daughter-in-law, Jimmy Deese, Ashford, AL, Kevin (Brittany) Kirkland, Cottonwood, AL; a brother, Robert Boyett, Cottonwood, AL; two sisters, Sarah Welch, Cottonwood, AL, and Katie Williams, Kinsey, AL; five grandchildren, Michael (Abi) Price, Josh Price (Darian Gill), Dakoda and Rangeley Deese, Kenzie Kirkland; one great grandchild, Jameson Price; several nieces and nephews.
