William “Bill” Earl Bland, a resident of Haleburg, died Friday, January 12, 2024 at his residence. He was 68.

Memorial services for Bill will be held at 4 PM Monday, January 15, 2024 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverends Bill Bond and Ray Cobb officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Bill was born November 4, 1955 in Donalsonville, Georgia to the late Lloyd Earl and Dorothy Chambliss Bland. He was raised in the Malone/Greenwood, Florida area and has lived in Haleburg the last 25 years. Bill worked for Whatley Supply for 30 years as a Truck Driver and was a member of Haleburg Baptist church and loved to fish. He was a family man that loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Bland; children, Todd Bland (Melody), Jessica Varnum, Marvin Tarver, Tony Tarver; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Miller (Carl), Donald “Duck” Bland (Norma), Chuck Bland (Cathy) and Betty Ruth Watford (Danny).
