William Buford Fowler, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Westside Terrace. He was 93.


Funeral Services will be held at 3:30PM Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Grandview Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Grimes officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:30PM to 3:30PM at the church.


Mr. Fowler was born to the late Bud and Lena Fowler on April 25, 1929 in Houston County, Alabama. He owned and operated Fowler Wood Works and Antique Restoration until his retirement. Mr. Fowler enjoyed spending time with his family and playing his harmonica. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.


He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Betty Fowler; his parents; one brother; and four sisters.


Mr. Fowler is survived by his two sons, Allan Fowler (Pam), and Roger Fowler (Kathy); a daughter, Glenda Allsup; grandchildren, Beth Anne Mustin (Jason), Blake Allsup, Melodye Maxwell (Heath), Tate Fowler (Delancey), and Alaina Mathis (Tyler); great grandchildren, Thomas Mustin, Anne Mustin, Bronner Maxwell, Wren Fowler, and Ridge Mathis; a sister, Micki Conti (Johnny), along with many nieces and nephews.
