Obituary: Mr. William Christopher “Chris” Saunders

 

Mr. William Christopher “Chris” Saunders of Slocomb passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at Southeast Health.  He was 59. 

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Purvis Cemetery with Rev. Hosea Parker officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

Mr. Saunders was born June 17, 1963 in Houston County to Betty Jean Saunders and the late Billy “Jack” Saunders. Chris enjoyed driving trucks, spending time with his family and friends, and will be dearly missed. 

Survivors include his children: Brittany Carter (Adam), and Cohen Saunders; mom, Betty Jean Saunders; sister, Anita Saunders; niece, Heather Harbert; numerous other extended family and friends.
