Willie B. Fennell, a resident of Dothan, died Monday June 18, 2012 at his residence. He was 94.

Funeral services for Mr. Fennell will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverend Eddie Littlefield officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM prior to the service.

Mr. Fennell was born February 3, 1918 to Tom and Emmalyne Jones Fennell in Grimes, Alabama. He retired from the City of Dothan as a Maintenance Technician. Mr. Fennell enjoyed dancing with the senior citizens at Doug Tew Recreation Center. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

Mr. Fennell is preceded in death by his parents and a son, William Cleve Fennell.

Survivors include his daughters, Carol Garner and her husband, Gary, Diane Lee, all of Dothan; four stepdaughters, Barbara Jones, Betty Barfield, Pauline Killingsworth, all of Ashford and Peggy Reeder, Dothan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
