Obituary: Mrs. Angie Ellenburg

 

Mrs. Angie Ellenburg of Hartford passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at her home. She was 66. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Tim Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Wicksburg Assembly of God Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time. 

Mrs. Ellenburg was born February 9, 1958 in Dothan to the late D.B. Spivey. Angie always worked at a flower shop enjoying helping people with their flower arrangements. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, and loved her pets. Angie will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her father, her grandson, Kodah Ellenburg; mother-in-law, Millie Thomley, and father-in-law, Joseph Ellenburg, all preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jack Ellenburg; two sons: Hunter Ellenburg (Christie), and Dillon Ellenburg; grandchildren: Maddox Ellenburg, Layla Ellenburg, Landon Ellenburg, and Lane Ellenburg; other extended family and friends.
