MIDLAND CITY…Mrs. Angie Waters Perry, a resident of the Mt. Enon Community, near Midland City, died Sunday morning, July 17, 2022, at her home. She was 43.


            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the church.


            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens, 5130 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303.


            Angie was born August 31, 1978, and grew up in the Mt. Enon Community, near Midland City. She was a 1997 Graduate of Dale County High School and received her Associate’s Degree as a Registered Nurse from Wallace Community College. Angie was formerly employed with Wiregrass Hospice, now Kindred Hospice, and also Southeast Health both in Dothan as a registered nurse. She was very talented as a vocalist, arts and crafts, and enjoyed woodworking.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, Sam Perry, Mt. Enon Community; a daughter, Arial Roberts (Ross Nowell), Midland City; a son, David Gabriel Evans-Wood, Nashville, Tennessee; father, Walter Gene Waters, Rehobeth; mother, Robyn Owens Bass (Greg), Mt. Enon Community; a sister, Genie Turner (Ben), Midland City; two grandchildren, Rowan Coffman and Liam Coffman; nieces and nephews, Christian Turner, Sam Turner, Hannah Turner, and Connie Turner;  a half-sister, Sherry Richardson (Marty), Dothan; a step-sister, January Bass; a step-brother, Jeb Bass (Janet), all of Arkansas; mother-in-law, Beverly Aman Ketcham (Jimmy), Ozark; father-in-law, Greg Perry, Midland City; brother-in-law, Matt Perry (Stacey);  several cousins and other relatives.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be Ben Turner, Terry Roberts, Christian Turner, Matt Perry, Ryan Paramore, and Spencer Sullivan.
