          Mrs. Ann Snell Campbell, a resident of Melbourne, Florida formerly of Louisville, Alabama died Friday evening, October 12, 2018 in a Melbourne hospital. She was 87 years of age.


          Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Pine Level Baptist Church in Louisville, Alabama with Reverend Russell Hagler officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, October 15, 2018 at the funeral home in Ozark.


Martha Ann Snell Campbell was born September 18, 1931 in Skipperville, Alabama to the late Grace Carroll Snell and Byron B. Snell. Ann was a graduate of Dale County High School and Troy State Teacher’s College (now Troy University) where she received her degree in Education. After graduation she started work as a second-grade school teacher in Ozark until she married James Robert Campbell. Mrs. Campbell moved to Barbour County next to Pine Level Baptist Church where she lived the majority of her days with her husband. She was a devoted wife and mother and a member of Pine Level Baptist Church for over fifty years. Ann was a Sunday school teacher, choir member, committee member and servant in the community. She moved to Melbourne, Florida in 2014 to live with her son and his family.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Robert Campbell, and her brother Huey Gene “Buck” Snell.


Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James William and Katye Campbell of Melbourne, Florida; three grandchildren; Ann Marie, Susanna and Braden Campbell all of Melbourne. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Snell; nephew, Dr. Bob Snell, and niece, June Grantham and their wonderful families.  The family is accepting flowers or memorial contributions may be made to Pine Level Baptist Church, 1110 Co. Rd 33 Louisville, Alabama 36048.
