Mrs. Anna Morning Strickland, age 72, of Eufaula, AL, passed away, Friday, August 14, 2020 at Flowers Hospital.

 

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Clayton City Cemetery in Clayton, Alabama with Rev. Billy Garrett Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 10:45 prior to the service at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula. The family wishes for everyone to remain safe and all masking and social distancing guidelines be observed.

 

Mrs. Strickland was born on June 3, 1948 in Eufaula, Alabama to Frank Cutchen and Jessie Singleton Cutchen. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Scotty Paul Strickland Sr. and daughter, Frankie Strickland.

 

Mrs. Strickland was a security guard for Sizemore Security stationed at Cooper Lighting for many years. She loved collecting recipes, reading, and spending time with her family.

 

Survivors include: sons, Quinton Strickland (Angela) and Leadon Strickland Jr. (Linda); daughter, Jessie Day (Jerry Sluss); grandchildren, Lashanda Cota (Gregory), Johnathan LeCroy (Tina Thomas), Wade LeCroy (Mary Faircloth), Briana Strickland (Henry Stokes), Scotty Paul Strickland, Devin Strickland, Trevor Strickland, Matthew Strickland, and Jennifer Murphy (Jeremy). Twenty-six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
