Mrs. Annie Mae Jerkins, age 90, of Dothan, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023.
Born April 7, 1933 to Jake Smith and Mae Andrews Smith, Annie enjoyed working and staying busy. A member of Highland Park Methodist Church, Annie enjoyed visiting others as well as cooking and being outdoors.
In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jerkins.
She is survived by her son, David Jerkins (Mary); her grandson, Bradford Allen Jerkins; the mother of her great-grandchildren, Sabrina Jerkins; her great-grandchildren, Daniel Joseph Jerkins, Anna Rose Jerkins, and Lily Faith Jerkins; her cousins, Janet Shinaberry (Mike), Paula Mahaffey (Rick), Michael Arnold (Jessica), Vivian Jackson (Harold), and Alice Jackson (Donald).
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Ed Stuart officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
