Mrs. Barbara Ann Trant of Westville, FL passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Wiregrass Medical Center.  She was 70.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Locke officiating.  Burial will follow in Poplar Head United Methodist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Geneva Humane Society. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. and continuing until service time. 

Mrs. Trant was born on December 10, 1941 in Beckley, WV to the late Robert and Clara Bell Haddox.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother and sister who displayed a great Christian spirit and loved helping others.  She cherished working in her garden and loved animals. 

Survivors include her husband, Charles L Trant of Westville, FL; two sons: Robert Herbert Wilkerson of Linden, FL and Raymond Shawn Wilkerson of Orlando, FL; three brothers:  Ernest Lowe of Delaware, John Wallace Haddox of Leesburg, FL and Richard Haddox of Atlanta, GA; two sisters:  Eluezia Cree Tornes of Ellijay, GA and Sharon Rose Manchester of South Carolina; two grandsons:  Robert and Joshua Wilkerson; and a special friend Betty Yancey.
