Betty Benton of Dothan, Alabama died June 30, 2019 after a short illness.

 

She was born November 1, 1936 to Buster and Sabie Enfinger with three brothers Pete, Rex and Dewey. She was married to Raymon Benton on June 18, 1955. Betty was a member of Selma Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by her beloved husband Raymon Benton, brother Dewey Enfinger, two children Deborah Deal (Herbert), and Keith Benton (Kimberly), two granddaughters Lindsey Shore (Justin), Gracie Benton and two great-grandchildren Mila and Niko Shore.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Pete and Rex and granddaughter Taylor Benton.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Evan Koen officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday, one hour prior to the service.
