Mrs. Betty Myra Free Rolf, age 72, a resident of Dothan died Wednesday February 25, 2015 at the SAMC after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday February 28, 2015 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend’s Stephen Peacock and Royce Morrow officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery (Hwy. 431 N.) with Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Saturday prior to services.  Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Rolf was born on December 9, 1942 in Dothan the daughter of the late Arthur L. Free and Carrie Virginia Hinson Free.  Mrs. Rolf was a graduate of Rehobeth High School and was of the Assembly of God faith.  She was retired as a human resource director and was a lifelong resident of Houston County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Survivors include: husband of 54 years, Robert “Bob” Rolf, Dothan; daughter, Tracy Rolf Grant, Dothan; son, Todd Rolf (Stacie), Dothan; 4 grandchildren, Taylor Grant, Anna Lynn Grant, Daniel Rolf and Dylan Rolf; 3 sisters, Annie Will Averett, Dothan; Nell Prevatt, Gordon; Jean Herman (Steve), Dothan.

Pallbearers will be: Danny Prevatt, Donnie Smith, Lamar Braswell, Stevie Herman, Brantley Herman, and Nicky Braswell.

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
