Mrs. Billie Anna Weaver Bates, a resident of Ozark, died Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at her home.  She was 92 years old.


A private memorial service will be held for Mrs. Bates at a later date.  However, condolences may be expressed at www.HolmanFuneralHome.com


Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


Mrs. Bates was born February 5, 1928 in Madison County, Alabama to the late Robert Hiram Weaver and Vera Kelly Weaver.  She grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and moved to Ozark in 1966 where she was a member of Westview Heights United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Bates loved to work in her garden.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Robbie Weaver Nolde and Jane Weaver Odom; and one grandson, Phillip Ryan Bates.


Survivors include one daughter, Linda Karen Bates of Ozark; two sons, SFC Robert Bates (United States Army, Retired) and wife, Lori, of Rose Pine, Louisiana, and Allen Bates of Ozark; one grandson, Ethan Bates of Vine Grove, Kentucky; two great grandson, Henry Bates and Ryan Bates of Vine Grove, Kentucky;  two sisters, Betty J. Reaves of Decatur, Alabama and Patricia Weaver of Gulf Breeze, Florida.
