Mrs. Brenda K. Fowler Hundley of Dothan passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the age of 66 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Seale officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Dixie Girl Dog Rescue, www.dixiegirldogrescue.org.

Brenda was born November 5, 1957 in Poplar Bluff, MO., the daughter of the late Charles E. Fowler and Dortha Blagg Brown. She was a graduate of Naylor High School and Wallace College in Dothan, Al. She retired from Southeast Health Medical Center in 2013.

Along with her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband Durward Hundley in 2012 and sister Sherry Fowler Mitchell who passed away January 18, 2024.

She is survived by her companion Curtis Thompson, daughter Gwynne Mitchell Price of Sylacauga, AL; sister Dianne Blanchard (Jim) of Sikeston, MO; brother Dennis Ray Fowler (Janet) of Poplar Bluff, MO;  brother-in-law Dennis Mitchell of Burton, MI;  grandchildren Amanda Flores of Chelsea, AL; Makenzie Price of Chelsea, AL and her fur babies Buffy and Tucker.

The family would like to thank Brenda’s special caregiver Denise Wallis.
