Mrs. Caroline “Carrie” Florence Gaines Harville, age 45, a lifelong resident of Dothan, died early Tuesday January 19, 2021 at Flowers Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

 

The family request that memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016 or to Landmark Park, P.O. Box 6362, Dothan, AL. 36302.

 

Carrie was born on April 22, 1975 in Dothan, the daughter of Frank Moss and Catherine Gaines, III.  Carrie was a 1993 Graduate of Northview High School and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Dothan.  She was a homemaker and taught her son at home.  Carrie loved Compass Lake, the Beach, traveling with her husband and was active with the American Kidney Foundation.

 

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Scheibe; paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Moss Gaines, Jr.

 

Survivors include her loving husband of 18 years, Joshua Harville, Dothan; son, Ellis Harville, Dothan; parents, Frank Moss and Cathy Gaines, III, of Dothan; brother and sister-in-law, Frank Moss Gaines, IV and Audrey, Dothan; mother-in-law, Malone F. Pitts, Panama City Beach, FL.; sister-in-law, Shay Harville, Dothan.
