ENTERPRISE… Mrs. Carolyn Bedsole Poston, a resident of Enterprise, died early Monday morning, March 15, 2021 at her home. She was 64.

            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 18, 2021 in the Goodman Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Pastor Paul Alexander officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

            Flowers will be accepted.

            Mrs. Poston, daughter of the late Jesse Bedsole and Sybil Kilpatrick Bedsole, was a native of the Kelly Community, near Newton. She formerly lived in Coffee Springs and Enterprise for the past twenty-one years. Mrs. Poston was formerly employed with Enterprise Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Poston; two brothers, Junior Bedsole and J.M. Bedsole; two sisters, Marlene Archie and Christine Capps.

            Surviving relatives include her daughter, Susan P. Zierdt (James), Ozark; two sons, Angus Poston (Mia), New Brockton and Tracy Poston, Frederick, MD; her sister, Dorothy Chandler, Slocomb; four grandchildren, Stephanie Norris (Steven), Dalton Lee, Amanda Devoe, and Steven Green; four great-grandchildren, Aurora, Lily, Shara, and Deontae.

            Serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Bedsole, Michael Chandler, Chad Kilpatrick, Travis Archie, Jessie Capps, Christopher Bedsole, and Tony Kelley.
