Cindy Sue Campbell, 69 years old, from Cottonwood, AL passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 peacefully surrounded by her family.


Memorial services for Cindy will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 19, 2022 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the funeral home.


Cindy was born in Cass City, MI on September 22, 1953.  She was born to EJ and Hattie Lucille Cooper and graduated from Cass City High School in 1971.  She moved to Cottonwood, AL in 1979 where she raised her family and became a member of the community.  Cindy retired from Farley Nuclear Plant as an instrumentation technologist.  After retirement, Cindy enjoyed spending time with family and friends through travel, enjoying family time and hobbies.  Cindy enjoyed crocheting, quilting and made the BEST pound cake in Cottonwood.  Cindy cared deeply for her family and demonstrated it by providing support and love during times of need and illness.


Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, EJ and Lucille Copper; five, siblings, Laverne Cooper (brother), Ardis Hagerman (sister), Iva Campbell (sister), Velma Gruber (sister) and Bev Jones (sister) and her late husband Charles Eddison (Eddie) Booth. 


Cindy is survived by her husband, Ron Campbell, her children; Aaron (Tanya) Scott, CT, Rhonda (Paul) Bass, Cottonwood, April (Jason) Shiver, Dothan, Adam (Regina) Booth, Rehobeth.  Cindy had 9 grandchildren; Marshall (Emily) Scott, Headland, Kim Scott, FL, Megan Scott, IA, Haley (Jeremy) Coskrey, Headland, Ryane (Carter) Scott, AZ, Hannah (Dylan) Chancey, Dothan, Jacob Shiver, Dothan, Tyler Booth, Rehobeth and Jase Booth, Rehobeth.  She also had 4 great-grandchildren; Annalee, Addalynn, John Cole and Ella Kate.  She was a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
