Mrs. Clare Anne Rosenthal Godwin, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, January 28, 2019, at her home.  She was  eighty-seven years old

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 31, 2019, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend James Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.

Mrs. Godwin was born January 5, 1932 in Martin County, Minnesota. She worked with International Milling Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and as a paralegal in Fairmont, Minnesota. She lived in Ozark from 1955 until 1958 when she moved to Miami, Florida and worked as a paralegal until her retirement in 1988. She moved to Okeechobee, Florida for four years then returned to Ozark in 1992.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Tunney Godwin and her son, Mark Godwin.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1124 County Road 11, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
