   Mrs. Cora Ursula Perkins Smith, a resident of Ozark, died Saturday, October 1, 2022, in Oakview Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 81 years old.


   Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Bobby Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Houston County, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.


   The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.


   Mrs. Smith was born June 18, 1941 in Berry, Alabama to the late Shade Perkins and Effie Mae Pendley Perkins. She moved to Birmingham at an early age. Mrs. Smith married the love of her life, Reverend Roy T. Smith in 1966 and they moved to Ozark at that time. They later lived in various places with his ministry before returning to Ozark in 1983. She loved her Lord and spending time with her family.


   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Roy T. Smith; one sister, Marjene Golden; and two nephews, Robbie Rylee and Alan Brasher.


   Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Roy Williams Jr. of Ozark, AL, Sonjia and Roger Smith Jr. of Bessemer, AL; five grandchildren, Angel Williams Costanza (Nick), Ayla Smith McCoy (Chip), Roger “Trey” Smith III, Alex Williams, Roy Williams III; two great grandchildren; Ryder Bowen and Lillie McCoy; two sisters, Vaudine Rylee of Ozark, AL and Shirley McDonald of St. Petersburg, FL; brother-in-law, Don Golden of Adger, AL; nephew, Jason Grace of St. Petersburg, FL.
