Dawn Lynette Cowart Simpson passed away on October 9, 2021 in Allen, Texas at the age of 53.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home in Texas. Dawn was born on February 14, 1968 to E. Douglas and Karen Louise Shrivalle Cowart in Atlanta, Georgia. Dawn married Randall Steven Simpson on November 25, 1995 in Ozark, Alabama. Dawn had many loves; number one was being a devoted mother and loving wife. She was compassionate, selfless and fun loving to all her many friends. Dawn was a 1989 Auburn University graduate and had been the owner and CEO of U90C Management Group since 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Randy of Allen, Texas; sons, Brad and Blake Simpson of Allen, Texas; parents, E. Douglas and Karen Cowart of Ozark, Alabama; sister, Autumn Backwell and husband, Myles of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother, Doug Cowart and wife, Mary Nelan of Dothan, Alabama; nephews, Ethan Backwell, and Douglas and Barron Cowart, and a host of other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Wade B. and Frances Shrivalle, and Clanton and Gertrude Cowart.

Dawn Lynette Simpson will forever be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
