CLIO… Mrs. Denise Malopolski Krause, a resident of Clio, died Friday afternoon, August 19, 2022, at her home. She was 67.

            There are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Krause, daughter of the late Albert Mathew Malopolski and Christina Isabelle Lastres Malopolski, was a native of Key West, Florida and moved to Clio, Alabama in 2005. Mrs. Krause was retired from the Palm Beach County School Board. She attended Mary Immaculate Star of the Sea in Key West, Florida beginning in kindergarten and graduating high school in 1973. Mrs. Krause was a 1977 Graduate of Florida State University with a  Bachelor’s Degree  in Physical Education.

            Surviving relatives include her husband of thirty-seven years, Norman Thomas Krause, Clio; her children, Jessica Krause Parks (Gene), Emily L. Krause (Mason Shaffer), and Sarah E. Krause-Santiago (Luis A.); her siblings, Catherine “Casha” M. Dunick (Gary) and Robert “Bobby” Malopolski; grandchildren, Kaleb G. Krause, Elijah T. Krause, Charlotte J. Parks, and Peyton L. Shaffer; her grandpups, Bruce and Talia; nieces and nephews, Joseph, Peter, Tera, Kayla and Aaron.
