 Mrs. Donna Kay Averett Braswell, age 60, a resident of Cowarts, went home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday February 3, 2018 at Flowers Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday February 7, 2018 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Judy Dyson officiating.  Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Glover Funeral Home.  At other times the family will be at the home of Vicki Davis, 78 Moss Street, Cowarts, AL.  Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Braswell was born on August 14, 1957 in Houston County the daughter of George L. Averett and AnnieWill Free Averett. She was retired as secretary with Mercer Equipment and Shady Grove C.H. Church where she was a faithful member. Mrs. Braswell was a 1975 Graduate of Dothan High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: Husband of 41 years, Lamar Braswell, Cowarts; daughter, Stephanie Davis (J.J.), Cowarts; two sons, Nicky Braswell (Shelley), Dothan; Logan King (Emily), Webb; sister, Vicki Davis (Larry), Cowarts; 6 grandchildren, Katelyn & Madelyn Braswell, Dothan; Tyler, Emmaleigh and Carleigh Davis, Cowarts; Kole King, Webb; mother-in-law, Gayvon Braswell, Dothan; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law & sister-in-law; two aunts.

Pallbearers will be: Bobby Dyson, Skip Wheelus, Jason Shiver, Larry Davis, Tyler Davis, Bobby Dyson, Jr., James Davis and Danny Prevatt.
