Obituary: Mrs. Donna Strickland McCoy

 

 

 

Mrs. Donna Strickland McCoy of Graceville, FL passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her home. She was 72. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Burns Assembly of God Church with Pastor Steven Peacock officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continuing until service time. 

Mrs. McCoy was born July 24, 1951 in Panama City, FL to the late Edward Forest and Jeanette Roland Strickland. Donna was the hardest working woman you ever knew and would give you the shirt off her back. She was a good-hearted person and beloved wife, mother and sister. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

In addition to her parents, two brothers: Edward Strickland, and Sammy Strickland preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Robert McCoy; daughter, Gina Odell (Don); son, Darren Dickman; grandchildren: Brandon Milligan, Briana Lawrence (Michael), and Blake Milligan (Kaitlyn); greatgrandchild, Ryleigh Milligan; sisters: Linda Morris, and Trish Mayo (Art); brother, Gary Strickland (Karen); sister-in-law, Judy Strickland; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
