Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Baxley Brannon, of Dothan, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018. She was 65.
Born October 1, 1953 in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina to Billy Frank Baxley and Foye Reeves Baxley, Elizabeth was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and decorating. She enjoyed loving on her grandbabies and telling Grumpy what to do.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Charles L Brannon; her son, Charles Jeremy Brannon (Amber); her daughter, Julie Elizabeth Brannon; her grandchildren, Charlee, Austyn, and Tryston; her parents, Billy Frank Baxley and Foy Reeves Baxley; her sisters, Cassandra Canady (Don) and Robin Taylor (Donald Ray); her brother, Alan Baxley; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her granddogs, Bella and Cooper.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2018 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mike Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 2 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2018 prior to the service.
The family will be receiving flowers.
