Eloise Rogers, 83, of Ashford, Al, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Clearman Chapel of Southern Heritage with Reverend George Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the funeral home.

Born in Jakin, Georgia, Eloise was a daughter of the late James and Linnie Hill Barfield. She worked as a machine operator with Wex-Tex Corporation for twenty years and is a member of Dothan Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mac Rogers.

Surviving are a daughter, Debrah Davis, Ashford, Alabama; three sisters, Gladys Duke, Avon, Alabama, Bobby May, Springhill, Florida and Caroline Dickerson, Ashford, Alabama; a grandson, Jonathan Davis, Ashford, Alabama.
