Mrs. Evelyn Barnes McDonald of Columbia died Sunday, January 1, 2012. She was 85.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Billy Gene Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Frith Hill Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 12 to 1 P.M. Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

 

Mrs. McDonald was born December 10, 1926, in Houston County Alabama. She was a member of Frith Hill Church.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Judy Melton, and a grandson, David Manning.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Roberts and her husband, Cliff (PeeWee) of Pelham, AL; sons, Kenneth Manning and his wife, Nancy of Dothan; Durwood Manning and his wife, Earnestine of Dothan; sister, Gladys Dickerson of Dothan; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
