Mrs. Hautie Marie Weeks Sheffield Ezell of Kinston, AL passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020. She was 91 years old.

 

Family graveside services will be held at Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens in Opp, AL with her grandson Todd Harris officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Women’s Ministry.

 

Mrs. Hautie was born in Geneva County, AL on March 28, 1929 to the late Malcolm and Virginia Bedsole Weeks. She worked for many years in the medical field caring for the needs of others and retired from Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva as an LPN. She was of the Baptist faith and faithfully served her Lord and Savior. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Morris Sheffield and later her husband, Wilmer Ezell, Beloved son-in-law, Jim Harris, three brothers, Woodrow, Thomas and Codas Weeks and one sister, Luna V. Weeks.

 

She is survived by her three daughters, Jean Harris of Pensacola, FL, June Maloy (Merwyn) and Pam Gillis (Stan) all of Kinston, Al, six grandchildren, Brad Harris (April) of Collierville, TN, Todd Harris (Kassie) of Pensacola, FL, Alyssa Wilson of Kinston, AL, Emily Edwards (Wayne) of Kinston, AL, Katie Davis (Alex) of Enterprise, AL and Brook Gillis of Kinston, AL, one brother,  Burl Weeks (Doris) of Kinston, AL, 12 great-grandchildren and a number of special nieces and nephews.
