Mrs. Helen Robinson Jacobs of Geneva, AL passed away on December 22, 2011 at Flowers Hospital. She was 78. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Williams and Rev. Red Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Jacobs was born in Geneva County, Alabama on June 9, 1933 to the late Ralph and Alma Dixon Robinson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Malon Robinson.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William F. Jacobs of Geneva, AL; one brother, Oneal Robinson (Hazel) of Black, AL; four sisters, Elizabeth Judah of Huntsville, AL, Martha Haythorne of Tuscaloosa, AL, Betty Vanlandingham (Morris) of Black, AL and Linda Hartzell (Ken) of Dothan, AL; Brother and Sister in law, Dr. Randall Lolley (Clara Lou) Raleigh, NC; Special nephew Poochie Robinson (Tammy) of Black, AL; special friend Nell Jean Bridges of Geneva, AL; And several nieces and nephews.
