Mrs. Jackie Wynell Spikes of Geneva passed away Friday, January 20, 2012.  She was 68.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2012 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Gene Hauser officiating.  Burial will follow in Black Cemetery in Black, Alabama with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Trinity Church Building Fund, 3964 E. State Hwy 52, Geneva, AL 36340.

Mrs. Spikes was born in Walton County, FL on May 15, 1943 to the late Howard “Buck” Adkison and Mary Lou Alford Adkison.  She and her late husband, Oscar Spikes owned and operated Spikes Wholesale in Geneva since 1985. 

 She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Fischer (Greg) of Geneva; son, Todd Spikes of DeFuniak Springs, FL; one grandson, Kellon Anderson of Geneva; two brothers, Doyle Adkison (Georgia) of Buena Vista, VA and David Adkison (Sue) of DeFuniak Springs, FL.
