Mrs. Janice Dasinger Fletcher, age 90, of Clayton, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Abbeville Health and Rehab in Abbeville, Alabama.

 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11:00 am at Prospect Baptist Church in Clayton, Alabama. A visitation will be held prior to the service, at the church, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.

 

Mrs. Fletcher was born on June 30, 1930 in Barbour County, the daughter of T.J. Dasinger and Ouida Horne Dasinger.  Mrs. Fletcher was known for being a hard worker. She was quiet and easy going. She enjoyed family reunions and was known for being a mom to everyone. While living in Clayton she enjoyed going to the Senior Center and working at the Dime Store. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Fletcher was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Fletcher; infant son, Donald Ray Fletcher; brother, Thomas James Dasinger and sister, Bonnie Jean Ard.

 

She is survived by: brothers, Joel Gregory Dasinger (Janice) and Rodney Arnold Dasinger (Annetta); sisters, Addie Clair Adams (James W.) and Martha faith Peterson (Paul). Numerous nieces and nephews.
