Mrs. JoAnn Closson of Dothan passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the age of 77.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Closson was part of a large military family and was able to live in Germany, Philippines, and Italy.
She loved to travel to the Balkins, Ireland, and most importantly the Holy Land.
At retirement her sole focus became her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
She is preceded in death by her father James Mosley.
Mrs. Closson is survived by her mother, Melba Hawn, sons, Michael Closson (Deanna), Chris Closson (Holli), grandchildren, Joshua Closson, Abbey Closson, Benjamin Closson, and Chandler Closson.
The family would like to give a special recognition and thanks to the staff and caregivers of Encompass Hospice. They were a true blessing.
