Mrs. Joycelyn Mims Collins of Dothan passed away Friday, September 13, 2013, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She was 70.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ralph Seigler and Reverend Roy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Tuesday, September 17, 2013, one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Collins was a member of Harvest Church and loved her small group at the church. She loved working in her yard, fishing, going walking, and she loved her neighbors. She loved her family dearly and cooking for them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cole and Nellie Mims, one brother, and eleven sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Collins of Dothan; daughter, Teresa Williams of Dothan; son, Tim Collins of Dothan; sisters, Dot Jackson and her husband, Johnny of Hartford; Wavene Brackin of Geneva; grandchildren, Coleman Collins, Farron Collins, several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
