Mrs. Joyce Bernice (Barnett) Wilson of Dothan passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at her residence. She was 79.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, April 29, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Judy Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Monday, April 29, 2013, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mrs. Wilson was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church. She loved crocheting, playing rummy q, shopping, eating out, and taking care of her yard. She also loved to attend Rose Hill Senior Center. She was very proud of her grandchildren.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.W. Barnett and Elle Edwards Barnett, one sister, and four brothers.

 

Survivors include daughters, Vicki Wood and her husband, Chip of Ashford; Belinda Hoffman and her husband, George of Ashford; son, Bobby Wilson of Dothan ; grandchildren, Sgt. Curtis Hoffman – Marines, and Veronica Wood- Air Force., and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
