Mrs. Joyce Childs Yeomans, of Hartford, Alabama passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Flowers Hospital. She was 77 years old.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, James Levie Childs and Dora Kandis Smith; siblings, Ferrell Childs, Wade Childs, Bill Childs, Royce Childs, and Waymon Childs.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Rev. Ricky King officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Yeomans of Hartford; children, Brian Scott Marsh (Theresa) of Hartford, Rebecca Joyce Guy (Michael) of Hartford, Jonathan Eric Yeomans (Shawn) of Simpsonville, SC, and Cynthia Lee Yeomans of Dothan; grandchildren, Brittany Crawford, Brian Marsh II, Derek Guy, Jake Guy, and April Stevens; along with several great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Louise Childs, Ann Childs, Betty Crutchfield, and Johnny Yeomans.
