Mrs. Joyce Lamb Martin of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Southeast Health Hospital. She was 67 years old.

Joyce was born on September 15, 1956 in Graceville, Florida to the late Fernie and Ruth Lamb. She attended Bethlehem High school and graduated in 1974. She loved to read and she loved music. Most of all, Joyce loved the Lord. She was a member of New Canaan Ministries Church where she played the piano for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her favorite title was Nana; her grandchildren had her whole heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernie and Ruth Lamb; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilson and Lourene Martin; siblings, David Lamb and Sarah Wagner; brothers-in-law, Robert Patrick and Larry Loper.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at New Canaan Ministries Church (200 County Road 57 Hartford) with Rev. James Lamb and Rev. Peggy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will begin receiving friends at the church at 2:00 p.m. until service time.

Survivors include her husband, Dannelly Martin of Dothan; children, Stephanie Murphy (Billy) of Ariton, Michael Skeen (Erin) of Prattville, and Brandi Hood (Jeremy) of Hartford; grandchildren, Sierra, Cody, Deserrai, Benjamin, Braxton, and Gabriel; great granddaughter, Bella; siblings, William Lamb (Linda), Barbara Patrick, and Janice Sullivan (Tom); sisters-in-law, Barbara Lamb and Donna Loper; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family is accepting flowers or donations may be made to a charity that was so special to Joyce, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
