Mrs. Judith Armstrong Frederick of Hartford passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at her residence.  She was 75.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Sardis Church with Rev. Gary Stringfellow and Rev. Jean Spikes officiating.  Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Sardis Church Building Fund, 649 County Road 67, Hartford, AL  36344. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. 

Mrs. Frederick was born on August 15, 1936 in Hartford, AL to the late Robert and Elsie Price Armstrong.  She was a member of Sardis Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Pete) Frederick, one son:  Greg Frederick; her father:  Robert Armstrong, her mothers:  Elsie Armstrong and Alice Armstrong, one brother:  John Armstrong.

Survivors include her daughter:  Janet Frederick Henderson of Hartford; one son:  Andy Frederick (Rita) of Hartford; grandchildren:  Hannah DuRant (Phillip) of Hartford, Heath “Bo” Dykes of Troy, Tanner Frederick, Savannah Frederick both of Chancellor, Casey Adams of Hartford; great grandchildren:  Ian DuRant and Zander DuRant; sisters:  Melba Peak of Chancellor, Sue Dillard (Dupree) of Black; several nieces and nephews; special caregiver:  Ashley Wynn.
