OZARK…Mrs. LaMaude Moates Rhoades, a resident of Ozark, died early Sunday afternoon, December 10, 2023, in the Oakview Manor Health Care Center. She was 79.


            In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Mrs. Rhoades, daughter of the late Lester Moates and Ruth Hagler Moates, was a native of Abbeville, Alabama and moved to Ozark at an early age. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Enfinger, a great-grandson, Stetson Enfinger, brothers, Conord Moates, Donald Moates, and Ted Moates.


            Surviving relatives include her two daughters, Tina Jones (David Kirkland), Ozark and Lavedia Day (Charles), Skipperville; sister, Grace Roberts; two brothers, Bobby Moates (Teresa), Ozark and Harold Moates, Tennessee; grandchildren, Joey Rhoades, Angel Miller, Jamie Enfinger, Jr., Mark Enfinger, Spencer Enfinger, Ashley Wiggins, Paula Enfinger, Brandon Turner, Cody Smith, and April Wiggins; great grandchildren, Jameson Miller, Emoni Enfinger, Bailee Enfinger, Kaira Enfinger, Gabriella Enfinger, Levi Enfinger, Mason Enfinger, Ryan Enfinger, Stetson Enfinger, Weston Enfinger, Shay Enfinger, Dusty Enfinger, Emily Turner, Olivia Turner, Harley Rhoades, Jackson Rhoades, Paisley Rhoades, Jensen Andams, Skylar Adams, Jayden Romeo, Madelyn Wiggins, Cadence Enfinger, Hayden Enfinger, Oden Wiggins, Kelly Wiggins, Vincent Winings, and Lillian Smith.
