Mrs. Linda Anderson of Chancellor, AL passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2011.  She was 83.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011 at El Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Hart and Rev. Barry Gordon officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made to El Bethel Baptist Church or to the church cemetery fund.

 Mrs. Anderson was born in Dale County, AL on May 11, 1928 to the late Marion and Rosie Lee Whitehurst Bryant.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Anderson, Sr.; son, Henry T. Anderson, Jr.; and twelve brothers and sisters. 

She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Turner (Jack) of Chancellor; three grandchildren, Jackie Turner of Chancellor, Daniel Anderson and Brian Anderson (Jamie), both of Mobile; great granddaughter, Wynter Anderson of Mobile; and daughter-in-law, Peggy Anderson of Coffee Springs.
